Most people have heard the phrase "Life has it's ups and downs". What not everyone knows is, sometimes, those ups and downs happen at the same time. Leaves you with a bit of vertigo.
I saved the world. Well, helped anyway, Lord Palamon actually gets credit for killing Baba Yaga. The right choice of where to fight can make all the difference, but there's nothing like having an Elf Lord mistake a flying cottage for a ringwraith. Witches, falling houses get's em every time.
And now, I finally got the girl of my dreams, and I got into Princeton. Hell, those were the two things I wanted most in the world. Plus, Mom' happier than I've seen her in years, and she's painting.
And the downs you may ask? The reason my mom's so happy, is because she's dating Faust. I'm not kidding. Now that I'm actually dating T'ing, Yang will hardly shut up about when we're going to make him a Great Grandson that he can teach how to burn and pillage. And since I'm going away to college in the fall, I need to make some money. Which means a job. A crappy job actually, which in turn meant that I couldn't go back to Fandom this summer like I'd hoped.
I've tried to keep in touch with my friends back there, but it seems to only work occasionally.
