"Tim I know what might cheer you up."

I was immediately suspicious. Last time my mom said that she suggested I get out of the apartment for a while, and babysit the Mandels.

"Let's invite everyone over for brunch."

Actually that didn't sound like a bad idea. Yaroslav seconded it from his perch in the light fixture.

"Yah, few things are being as good a cure for Emo as a good party."

So mom made a list of things we'd need, and I started extending invitations. Neil snickered at the idea of having Brunch. T'ing and I were, not quite back at the invite each other to brunch stage, Hobson was still nowhere to be found. So, `everyone` turned out to be Teleri and Master Runyon. Which was just fine really because I hadn't seen them since leaving for Fandom, so I actualy rather missed them.

Things started out just fine. They didn't end that way.

Teleri blamed the Vampire. She was over Tim. She was. Sure he was handsome in that sweet, sensitive cute boy way, and he had that inner strength that even he seemed unaware of. But she knew she wasn't his type. He liked that T'ing girl. Or, maybe that little chippie he'd mentioned from the summer.

In any case, she certainly hadn't intended to attack him in the elevator. She really had intended to merely warn him that there was a VAMPIRE in his apartment.

But said feind had caught her off guard, scared her, made her vulnerable. And Teleri didn't like being vulnerable. Except on her terms. So she'd attempted to take back some control.

If Tim hadn't stopped her? Well she completely would have ravaged him. But he had. And she'd regained her senses, partly because she'd spotted that necklace he was wearing while unbuttoning his shirt. And it made her realize that even if she could take him, it would be a huge mistake.

Besides, there were more important matters to discuss. For instance the fact that monsters were now escaping the leeside.

Oh it was too perfect. The slutty little banshee lured the Champion out of the apartment as if she'd been working for Baba Yaga the whole time.

Never one to waste an opportunity, she sprang into action. Her cottage had been sitting on the roof since sunrise. She herself had only taken half a day to locate him, and determined that yes, he could be a threat. Unless he were neutralized, and then, genius that she was, her grand scheme sprang full grown in her head like that bitch from Zeus' head.

No one in the apartment posed any threat to her. Mommy dearest went for a very long restfull nap, the Luchorpan went down just as quickly and Yaroslav, well, that hadn't been hard at all. And the Bannik? Please.

Baba Yaga defeated them all. Then she turned to the Vampire.

"Yaroslav, dahlink countryman, is to be listening varry carefully da? And little blondie bear will be doink just what Baba Yaga is to be tellink him?"

Yaroslav swallowed hard and nodded. Fear and shame quickly being buried.

"Gooood. Here what you are to be tellink dahlink Fae champ when he comes back."
