Glenwood High School, Friday Sept 22
Sep. 22nd, 2006 07:27 pmIt's a well known fact in Glenwood High, that you do not want to be in the immediate proximity of the classroom door when the final bell rings. Especially on a friday.
There was the usual stampede of students, and after a few minutes it was safe to enter the halls. Of course navigating them was still problematic.
"Sorry, scuse me, whoops, Hi Tracy, watch out!"
yeah trying to get through the halls between classes, and after classes was a dangerous thing. You never wanted to step too far back from your locker or you'd get swept out to the parking lot.
"Oof!" Would be the sound of me bumping into someone as I dodged a particularly zealous football player. You really don't want to get in their way.
"Sorry," I flailed. Then I saw who I'd bumped into. And realized I'd not yet begun to flail.
