314 Saturday Morning 7/1

Nope. Still no memory. But I do remember what happened yesterday, which is a good sign I think. It means that I'm not still losing memories. Of course this place is still realy confusing.
Well I can lie in bed and brood, or go out and explore, and see if anything comes back. I choose the latter.

Tim blushed. "Thanks," he said, smiling. "You look like you're a good kisser too."

"I wasn't planning to say it like that," she sighed. "My apologies." She smiled uncertainly. "You're also very kicd to people and loyal to your friends."

Tim was still smiling. "That's also good to know, I'd hate to think I was some kind of asshole. And whether it was intended or not, thank you for the compliment."

This was a word she was unfamiliar with.

"What's an asshole?"

"Well my definition is a mean person." he said. "I think other people might have slightly different interpretations." Okay, maybe she'd been overly sheltered and that's why she didn't know that?

"Ah. My father usually calls mean people traitors to the king."

"Big Elvis fan your father?"

Gwynn shook her head. "No, Phillip." SAhe tilted her head. "Who's Elvis?"

Philip. Well she did have an accent maybe...wasn't one of Prince Charles' sons named Philip? Maybe something happened to Queen Mum and Charles and Diane, and he just didn't remember? Or, this could be part of the reason he was here.

"A singer, sometime around the 1950's I think. He died a long time ago, but people still refer to him as The King."

Gwynn shook her head. "Sorry, but I've never heard of him. My family was loyal to Richard and now we serve Phillip."

She squeezed his hand again, searching his face, wanting to make sure he was okay. She was worried about him...and maybe a trifle sad that he didn't remember her.

Didn't ring a bell, but he had amnesia. Who knew if he knew anything about European politics anyway?

He held onto her hand gratefully. "I'm sure I'll be fine." he said.

Gwynn was sad that he didn't remember her, but happy he was allowing her to hold his hand and be affectionate. This was good, right?

She ran her hand gently through his hair again.

"If your pain gets worse, you will tell me, right?"

"If I say yes will you keep doing that?" he asked, a smile, half pleased, half awkward on his face.

Gwynn's face lit up. "If you like it, I'll keep doing it, anyway," she said and then blushed again.

"I do." he said softly, and using his free hand, returned the favor. "I get to meet you all over again." he smiled.

Gwynn did something that felt very much right and comfortable to her. She leaned into his hand.

"Meeting each other again is very nice since I enjyed it so much the first time."

Tim closed his eyes briefly, and sighed. "You have no idea how comforting this is right now." he said.

Gwynn continued leaning into his hand and moving her hand through his hair.

"I can imagine that forgettting everything has to be a bit unsettling and I'll do whatever I can to help ease it for you, Tim."

"Thanks." tim said. He wanted to kiss her, but, wasn't sure he should. Given the circumstances he didn't know if that would be a good idea. But he really wanted to.

Gwynn also wanted to kiss him and since the Tim she knew seemed to like kissing her, she moved her head to kiss him gently.

He was surprised, and reflexivlely started pulling back in a `woah something coming towards my head!` kind of way, but then instantly smiled and kissed her back. Well that took care of that awkwardness.

"You have soft lips." he said.

Gwynn's eyes softened and she smiled at him.

"You said that the first time you kissed me, too." She looked happy about that. "Then, I told you that I liked your lips very much."

Tim smiled more and kissed her again, less tentatively this time. "I'm glad."

Gwynn wrapped an arm around him. "Me, too."
