Luke's Diner, between customers

Dear T'ing,
You're taking lots of pictures right? Cause who knows if I'll ever get to China myself, so I have to live vicariously through you. Yang's stories are out of date and kinda violent so those don't really do it for me.

Things here are still kinda crazy, but they've settled down. At least for the moment. There's two japanese kids here, one of whom, er, hey if you run into a place with cursed springs, stay away from it okay? I don't want to betray any confidences here, but this boy named Ranma ran afoul of that place and he's not happy about it. Poor guy thought he was a five year old girl the other week, apparently he got hit on the head.

I'm learning how to actually use a sword, Gwynn's teaching me, but I've gone to the gym to practice a few times. I'm sure your feminist mother would be pleased to know that there are many women here who could kick the ass of any man, even if some of them are insane.

There's all sorts of folks here that make Fandom seem like home: For instance, guy named Walter has a puppy with six eyes. It's a Hellhound Puppy. And there's at least two people here from Ancient Greece.

The
workshops are going well, (Dada's my favorite)I fortified myself with cookies before I took my turn in story telling.

And I am working in a diner now. not bad work in a small town if you can get it. Mostly I wind up talking to a girl named River, which is both an intellectual challenge, and a lot of fun. plus she's pretty We've played a lot in Dada too.

Okay I guess it's only fair to tell you, since you were so honest with me about...that guy who's name I can never remember. And I swear that's not me being petty, I just honestly cannot remember. Anyway, Gwynn and I have gotten pretty close ourselves.

So far actually, one of the strangest things about this place is, well little to no adult supervision. Must be what college is like. Okay maybe to a lot of people that's not weird, but I'm a guy who's had his mother down the hall for most of his life, it's a big thing to be on my own like this. Kind of nice.

I just wander from common room to common room, or town, or when we're in the cabins, wander from campfire to campfire. I think you'd like this place. Every friday there's a big thing. Most recently it was an art fair. oh and I went to my first sporting event, as i'm friends with one of the cheerleaders. I think most of my friends here are newbies like me, I don't know maybe we've sort of banded together for mutual protection or something.

So anyway, that's the news from lake woebegon Fandom. Miss you.

Your friend,
Tim.
