Dorm Roof, Monday late afternoon, linkdrop

grand_fallguyI don't keep a journal or diary per se. But recently I have started keeping notes on things. Just jotting down things that happen, that I hear, or see.
Because it's occured to me that one day I may just want to tell these stories. I kinda think it goes hand in hand with my work with the Fae.
I met more people just wandering around the camp, and by met, I mean actually introduced myself to, than in my entire life. 'Cause, you just don't do that in the city. It's, not smart. The campfires in particular are really good for socializing it turns out.
Interesting People: Seras- shares my leeryness of chihuahuas.
Pippi: trains rocks, and is a totally good sport.
Kurt- is a fuzzy and blue German juggler
Gwynn- Zoinks oh my God! Robin Hoods Daughter!! I'm pretty sure she likes me, but I'm not sure what to do about that, as I don't know the dating etiquett for the 12th century.
River: Walking Talking Non-Sequiter. Pretty and she thinks I'm cute. I see no bad here.
Nadia: Is a squirrel. Not literally but I wouldn't rule it out as a future possibility.
Xander: Nice guy with good advice about women who wear armor.
Lana: Lovely, easy going girl with an apparent knack for getting into trouble.
Conner: Room mate. Sightings are rare. Apparently he can be a little weird sometimes.
Parker: Very pretty but had to be set strait about the Fae.
Jude: Unflappable and apparently indestructable.
Molly: Took on Pippi, saved my ass, and totally deserves the Seelie Medal more than me. But I'm keeping it anyway. And fortunately seems to have forgiven me for the watergun attack.
Luna: Another odd one. Again, in a good way.
Setsuna: Pretty asian girl. But we won't go there. Fellow Puffin.
Ranma: Has issues with curses and lists.
Workshops: Dada, way fun, if it takes some getting used to. I can't wait for my turn in storytelling. Nature Magic hasn't been particularly challenging so far, but has been incredibly enlightening. Which is, I believe, the point. Okay, leadership? Great class and if I can manage to use all the high tech gear, and not sound stupid about my ignorance of the ways of outddorsmanship...
With the prank war going on, I convinced Al, and Setsuna to help me stand guard. I was acutally just having fun shining my flashlight at people but I won't tell them that.
I work in a diner. And despite injuries, still way easier and more pleasant than babysitting.
Notes to self: Don't ambush people from the bushes with a squirtgun. There appear to be small, gnomelike creatures inhabiting the woods. The woods are spooky. Be carefull. The rain in the woods, is a lot more fun than the rain in the city.
