Puffin A1 Wed. Afternoon
After my earlier wanderings, I returned to my bunk, and found a postcard on the mattress.
I looked at the picture. Chinese countryside. T'ing. I debated not reading it.
"Dear Tim,
Your mother told me what happened, please write and let me know how things are.
T'ing"
That's it. no Love, no Sincerely, no Your Friend. Just, T'ing. Okay so it's a postcard, how mushy can those things be?

Then he relaxed a bit, though still acutely aware of her hand on his shoulder.
His head tilted suddenly when he did detect a difference in the sound of the wind. "Woah," he said.

She didn't move her hand. "I can teach you... if you like?"
She dropped her eyes shyly.

"So, tell me about what it's like back home?" he asked. "I don't really know much about your, forgive the expression, point in history."
and if gwynn ever mentioned where he could hear it taht she knew how to use a sword, I forget if she has, he wouldn't mind learning a bit of that either.no subject
Her face took on a softer light as she started talking. "My home is surrounded by the most beautiful forest that I have ever seen. Where I'm from... the uncles run what looks like a monastery, but it's really a safe haven for the hidden people of Sherwood."

"My father did teach me a lot, and then so did Will Scarlett and Friar Tuck and others of the Merry Men." She smiled at him. "They taught me to listen to the forest and what it tells me. They taught me archery, sword-fighting and how to fight with daggers and how to throw them."
She blushed. "Is this what they call small talk or do you really want to know about me?"

He pondered a bit. "I should probably learn how to use a sword."

"I... I could teach you."

he shuddered. "Well Adella I count as a monster. The other one, I fought back home. The worst kind of monster. A human being who did god knows what to children. He got into the leeside and his appearance changed to match his soul."
