MCA Apartment 8, Wednesday Morning
Jun. 17th, 2009 05:17 pmThere were a lot of books of ghost stories spread out on the table as Tim tried to narrow down a choice to tell during his workshop tomorrow. This was supposed to have been his topic for last week, but a vicious stomach bug had blind sided him.
But all in all, despite the misgivings of some of the other teachers, Tim thought the class was going well. He was getting a lot more participation than he'd expected. Even at the singing session.
Taking a break, he rose and went to fridge. He contemplated the bottle of Elven Wine he'd brought and forgotten about. It reminded him of his leave taking a few years ago. Which also made him think of how things had changed in the time he'd been gone. And also of how things had stayed the same.
His eyes passed over the bottle again as he pulled a soda out. Maybe he and Veronica should have a party. He didn't want that wine to go to waste. Ah, but who to invite and what to do? Spin the bottle had been fun, he thought with a mental snicker.
Well, back to work. He had to try to finalize his plans for next session as well. He wondered if any of the same students would sign up, or if he'd get new ones. What was funny was he was possibly just as curious as the kids as to what the other teachers would choose for their workshops. Fandom certainly attracted some interesting folks.
And alligators.
[Primarily a linkdrop, but open for anyone who wants to stop by.]
